The E-centrifuge is a personal bench top centrifuge designed for quick
spin down of liquids in microcentrifuge tubes. It features a safety lid
which automatically shuts off the centrifuge when opened, an on-off switch,
and a brake for rapid deceleration. The E-centrifuge comes with 2 rotors:
one for 6 x 1.5ml microtubes and the other holds two 8-strips of 0.2ml
PCR microtubes. The microcentrifuge runs at 6400 rpm which equals 2046
x g.
Boca Scientific is pleased to introduce the Boca-Pet™ line of single-
and multi-channel pipettors. The Boca-Pet is a great pipettor at a great
price (just $149 for each single-channel variable volume Boca-Pet and
just $395 for the 8-channel version).
Boca-Pet single- and multi- channel variable volume pipettors feature
a user-friendly volume adjustment knob, a clearly visible volume indicator,
an integral tip ejector, and compatibility with most standard pipette
tips in the appropriate volume range. The unique and easy to use volume
adjustment knob locks in place after the volume is set, so that the volume
setting cannot be inadvertently changed. Once set, the volume is clearly
displayed in the volume indicator window.
To set volume, lift the yellow volume adjustment knob and turn
it until the desired volume is set.
